Questions, answered plainly

What Pairkeep is, what it isn't, and how it treats your household's data.

The product

What is Pairkeep?

Pairkeep is shared home admin for couples — bills, renewals, warranties, and documents, in one calm place, built for two people sharing a home. Both of you see the same records and both of you get the reminders.

Is Pairkeep a budgeting app?

No, and deliberately so. Pairkeep doesn't connect to your bank or track your spending. It covers what budgeting apps don't: policy renewals, appliance warranties, shared documents, and the non-financial dates a household runs on. If you use a budgeting or expense-splitting app already, Pairkeep sits comfortably alongside it.

Why not just use a shared notes app or calendar?

A shared note holds information; it doesn't act on it. Nothing in a notes app alerts you both when the contents insurance is up for renewal or a warranty is about to expire, and documents in one partner's inbox stay invisible to the other. Pairkeep gives both partners equal visibility, plus reminders by email and in your calendar.

Is there a mobile app?

Pairkeep is a web app — there's no native mobile app today. Reminders reach you by email, and the ICS calendar feed puts your household dates into Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, so day to day you don't need to open another app at all.

How do reminders work?

Two ways. Email reminders are sent for upcoming renewals, expiries, and dates. Separately, your household has a private ICS calendar feed you can subscribe to from Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, so everything appears in the calendar you already use. Premium adds more advanced control over reminder timing.

Can more than two people join a household?

Pairkeep is built for two-person households. A household supports up to two members. It isn't a family organiser with child schedules and school runs — apps like those serve a different household shape, and serve it well.

Plans and billing

What does the Free plan include?

One household with up to two members, shared expenses, renewals and recurring obligations, warranties and expiries, custom household dates, standard email reminders with recent reminder history, the private calendar feed, and document attachments. Free isn't a trial and doesn't expire.

What does Premium add?

Expanded document storage, more advanced reminder timing controls, full reminder activity history, household export, and priority support. Premium is £29.99 per year or £3.99 per month.

Will prices change once we've signed up?

The current prices are the current prices: £0 for Free, £29.99 a year or £3.99 a month for Premium. If pricing ever changes, existing subscribers will be told clearly and in advance.

Privacy and your data

Is our data sold or used for advertising?

No. Your data is never sold, and we run no third-party profiling analytics — no advertising trackers, no data brokers. Our own site analytics are self-hosted and cookieless.

Can other households see our records?

No. Each household's data is isolated at the database level. Your household's records are visible only to its members.

How does Pairkeep handle UK data protection?

Pairkeep is built with GDPR-grade privacy: UK data protection law is the baseline for how the product is designed, not a box ticked afterwards. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
