Pairkeep holds the paperwork and dates a home runs on, so how we treat that data matters. Here is exactly what we do — and what we will never do — in plain terms.
Most apps in this space pay for themselves by watching what you do and building a profile from it. Pairkeep doesn't. It's a paid product — the Free plan is funded by Premium subscriptions, not by your data — so the incentives point the same way yours do.
Four promises about your data
- No third-party profiling analyticsWe run no advertising trackers and no profiling analytics on your data. Our own site analytics are self-hosted and cookieless — enough to see which pages are useful, with nothing that follows you around.
- Your data is never soldNot to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, ever. There is no version of Pairkeep where your household paperwork becomes someone else's product.
- Household-level database isolationEvery household's records are isolated from every other household's at the database level. What you add is visible to your household and no one else.
- GDPR-grade privacyBuilt in the UK, with UK data protection law as the design baseline rather than an afterthought. (That describes how we work — it is not a certification.)
Why this is different, in practice
Because there are no profiling trackers and nothing to sell, Pairkeep has no reason to collect more than it needs to run. You add what your household needs to keep track of; both members can see it; the reminders go out. That is the whole loop.
No bank connection
Pairkeep doesn't connect to your bank or read your transactions. It tracks the renewals, warranties, documents, and dates a household runs on — not your spending.
Shared by design, private by default
Records are shared within your household of two and nowhere else. Add only what you are happy for your household partner to see — that is the point of a shared home.
Yours to take with you
Premium includes a household export, so the record of everything you have added is yours to keep, not locked away.

Do you use our data to fund the Free plan?
No. Free is funded by Premium subscriptions, not by your data. We run no third-party profiling analytics and your data is never sold.
Can another household ever see our records?
No. Each household's data is isolated at the database level, so your records are visible only to the members of your own household.
What does "GDPR-grade privacy" mean here?
It means UK data protection law is the baseline we design to, not a box ticked at the end. It is a description of how we work — not a formal certification, which GDPR does not offer.
